Cooperación Dllo VL - 9 IS - 2 SE - DO - 10.21500/23825014.6057 UR - https://revistas.usb.edu.co/index.php/Cooperacion/article/view/6057 SP - 46-59 AB - <p class="p1">The Laboratory of Social Cohesion II Mexico-European Union is a program emanating from the bilateral relationship between Mexico and the European Union, as an objective it was proposed to strengthen social cohesion in Mexico through the promotion of structural reforms that could improve equal opportunities in access to justice, human rights, security, employment and basic public services. Under a co-financing scheme, this program was signed in 2013 and ended in 2019; its implementation was carried out at the federal level and in the states of Oaxaca and San Luis Potosí. Thus, this communication aims to provide a definition of LCS II and expose one of the activities implemented in the state of San Luis Potosi: <em>Dialogues on public policies and social cohesion</em>, which were carried out between 2017 and 2018 and included the participation of authorities, civil society and academic sector. This research is an empirical, qualitative, descriptive and explanatory case study, for its realization, it is based on an analytical-interpretive approach based on documentary research techniques and field work. Among the conclusions, it is highlighted that the Dialogues were an enriching exercise for the actors involved, since they exposed part of the products resulting from the implementation of the program and the space created opened the opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices.</p><p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Keywords:</strong></span> Policy dialogues; Mexico; European Union; Social cohesion; Bilateral cooperation.</p> ER -
