Abstract
philosophy of religion starting from the assumption of the phenomenology of life by Michel Henry, and to consider the paths this would suppose. This task demands to specify the basic principles of his phenomenological proposal, to investigate about the author’s fidelity to those principles in his consideration of Christianity and, finally, to enunciate the paths that are originated from this phenomenology for a philosophical understanding of the religious experience. This will be, then, the structure of our text, which pretends to be situated into the assembly of Henry’s philosophical work, defined by him under a double aspect: “The elaboration of the fundamental assumptions that define the duplicity of appearing and the practice of those assumptions in the comprehension of different problems or diverse philosophies”.
