Abstract

This article focuses on the research at the powdered milk company Distrilácteos del Valle S.A., conducted in order to identify and relate variables such as organizational culture, organizational structure, internal processes, and personnel and incentives to know how this company, through the years, has managed to survive and prosper in a highly competitive market niche, by aligning its strategies and the development of alternative solutions, within a “fair framework” that gradually marks the interests of workers, customers, suppliers, creditors and the company itself.

This research was developed based on the theories of authors like Markides (2000), Porter (1985) and Ouchi (1981), among others, and the application of different methodological tools for data collection and to reach the final results.
