Resumen

El objetivo del estudio fue medir y comparar las preferencias ambientales en 59 estudiantes de Biología y 75 de Psicología de una universidad pública mexicana. Para ello, a los participantes se les presentaron 60 imágenes de ambientes naturales y urbanos. Se les requirió señalar el grado de relación que experimentaban con dicho ambiente, utilizando una escala Likert de 7 puntos. Los resultados demostraron una consistencia interna de 0.94 y una estructura factorial de un sólo factor para la dimensión de naturaleza y tres factores (Entretenimiento, Contaminación y Futbol Soccer) para la dimensión urbana. Además, se encontraron diferencias significativas en las preferencias entre las muestras de Biólogos y Psicólogos.
