Resumen
Esta investigación describe los factores motivacionales en los futbolistas profesionales del Boyacá Chico Fútbol Club, como deportistas y clientes internos. Los instrumentos utilizados para esta valoración fueron la Escala de Motivación Deportiva (EMD) y el Cuestionario de Motivación para el Trabajo (CMT). Participaron 28 jugadores profesionales de fútbol, cuyas edades oscilaron entre 17-39 años. Los resultados encontraron que, en el EMD, la motivación intrínseca por la estimulación predomina frente a las demás subescalas, la amotivación no es determinante en la conducta deportiva. El CMT, permitió hallar que los factores de salario, reconocimiento y requisición, este ultimo entendido como los comportamientos orientados a la obtención de retribuciones deseadas, puntuaron alto; la autorrealización y el contenido de la tarea puntuaron bajo.
