Abstract

La hermenéutica gadameriana y la deconstrucción derridiana son usualmente vistas como dos operaciones textuales completamente incompatibles, en la medida en que la primera busca comprender el sentido del texto, mientras la segunda busca desmantelar esa misma pretensión de sentido. A diferencia de esa postura que enfatiza ante todo la oposición, este artículo defiende la posibilidad de acercar ambas perspectivas haciendo del concepto de textualidad el punto de encuentro común, entendido como la negatividad del texto que tanto anima el intento hermenéutico de comprender el sentido, cuanto se resiste a él y lo imposibilita.
