Abstract
Según el conteo que lleva la Escuela Nacional Sindical (ENS), en Colombia fueron asesinados 2.909 trabajadores sindicalizados entre enero de de 1986 y diciembre de 2011. Es preciso indicar que la ENS es una institución que, entre otras funciones, registra las violaciones que atentan contra la vida, la libertad y la integridad de trabajadores sindicalizados. Los criterios de delimitación de los registros se definen con base en pruebas que permitan establecer si se trata de un crimen relacionado con la actividad sindical; de otra manera, el caso se excluye de la base de datos.
