Abstract
Al escuchar varias veces las palabras que tuve la oportunidad de grabar en una extensa entrevista que le realicé durante varios días a mi estimado profesor Rodolfo de Roux, en abril de 2009, me sorprendió su marcado agnosticismo y, a la hora de escribir esta pequeña semblanza, consideré oportuno hacer énfasis en este sentido. Pero antes de entrar en la vida del profesor Rodolfo no puedo dejar de mencionar que al encontrarme con él en Cali comprendí que la elección de Toulouse (Francia) como su nueva patria chica no fue fortuita, pues podría estar relacionada con algunas similitudes que poseen estas dos bellas ciudades.
