Abstract
En el siguiente texto se analiza la naturaleza de la discusión que establece el archivo ciudad educadora, concluyéndose que esta es fundamentalmente de tipo ideológico. Se señala que hay poca reflexión sobre los presupuestos de los que ha partido –estos no justificados ni racionalizados filosóficamente o científicamente– primordialmente por encontrarse la iniciativa en una fase muy incipiente que no ha permitido aplicar sobre sí misma los principios y valores críticos que busca defender y no porque haya sido formalizada en 1990, en el encuentro celebrado en Barcelona.
