Abstract

Desde mediados de siglo, y en particular en las últimas décadas, se ha producido en Colombia un proceso de diversificación religiosa. La llegada de nuevos agentes religiosos, en especial del pentecostalismo, ha puesto fin al tradicional monopolio religioso del catolicismo. El presente artículo explora de que manera la Iglesia Católica ha hecho frente al nuevo contexto. La pluralización religiosa genero una reconfiguración de los significados religiosos, asi como de las relaciones de la Iglesia Católica con el Estado y la sociedad colombiana.
