Abstract
El orangután con sacoleva. Cien años de democracia y represión en Colombia (1910-2010), es una obra está consagrada al estudio de lo que el autor considera la “anomalía” del sistema político colombiano. Entre 1910 y 2010, Colombia se caracterizó por tener un régimen político democrático con una extraordinaria estabilidad y continuidad y, simultáneamente, altísimos niveles de represión acompañados por dos “ciclos de represión exterminadora”: entre 1940 y 1960 y desde los años 1980, comparables únicamente con las peores dictaduras de la región.
