Resumo
Apreciada profesora Maritza Montero, la psicología comunitaria cobró vida gracias a ti. En tu mente se gestaron las ideas fundamentales para imprimir un giro conceptual y metodológico de psicología social logrando su orientación hacia una psicología más comprometida con los problemas sociales de los territorios latinoamericanos. La psicología comunitaria surge a partir de la crítica de la psicología social existente dado que no respondía a los problemas sociales presentes en el continente. Esto conllevo al análisis e investigación en la búsqueda de una psicología que fuera socialmente sensible.
