Abstract

The present investigation had as an objective to identify the psychosocial risks factors related to the child maltreatment in a group of girls and
adolescents between the 5 and 17 years, who are currently in a semi-boarding of a foundation in Cajicá, Colombia. It was realized descriptive
study with a association method. The unit of analysis was composed for 50 clinical records from the girls and adolescents. The data collection
was performed using a format designed for that purpose, which was previously reviewed and validated by four expert judges. In the results
obtained it can be mentioned that psychosocial risk factors associated to the child maltreatment were monoparental families, adolescent
mothers and childhood maltreatment history of the parents.
