Abstract

This study analyzes how students of tourism and gastronomic business management of the Centro Universitario de Ciencias Económico Administrativas (CUCEA-University of Guadalajara) perceive entrepreneurship. It is supported with the Theory of Reasoned Action. The data were applied to a sample of 185 students analyzed with structural equations (SEM), among the results it is highlighted that the attitude of the student exerts greater influence on the intention. In addition, information is provided on the characteristics of potential entrepreneurs, by leaving open the analysis on the lines of action for the implementation of public policies to strengthen the university center in the path of an entrepreneurial university.
