Abstract
En este documento, Carlos Gaviria Díaz recorre desde una perspectiva histórica y filosófica, el concepto de democracia y da luces sobre su realidad en Colombia hoy día. Finalmente, se interroga acerca de los valores éticos en el contexto de una sociedad democrática, particularmente la sociedad colombiana, de acuerdo con la Constitución de 1991. La democracia es un proyecto que debe perseguirse permanentemente, un propósito del todo realizado.
