Abstract

It is necessary to ask, according to the norm, if the cooperation China-LAC contributes to a better balance of social sustainability; given the context of open development and global capitalism. The question to be asked associatively is: Why to cooperate with China. For that, it is pertinent to evaluate, on pertinent ethics principles, the social impact of the cooperation policies, to reduce the inertial functional pragmatism, and, to promote an internationalized citizenship that shows the democratic sovereignty of each society. It is suggested to design the cooperation policies between China-LAC to taking into account the historical compatibility of society projects; with the purpose of not losing, or worse still to give, the sovereign control of the possible and ethical desired future. We conclude that the China-LAC Sino-LAC will always be unequal, unconcluded and risky but, at least currently, it seems to be imposed as an historical inevitability.
