Abstract
Tirándole libros a la balas es un texto que obliga al lector a adentrarse por caminos marcados por la tragedia. Sus páginas recorren las trayectorias vitales de cientos de maestros que fueron asesinados por participar activamente en la construcción de una sociedad más democrática. Estamos ante un estudio que habla exactamente de lo que sugiere su subtítulo: la violencia antisindical que se ha practicado contra educadores afiliados a la Asociación de Institutores de Antioquia (ADIDA), durante los tres decenios que van de 1978 al 2008. Se trata de una investigación elaborada por el equipo de estudiosos de la Escuela Nacional Sindical (ENS), bajo la coordinación de Guillermo Correa Montoya y Juan Diego González Rúa, jóvenes investigadores cuya formación científica y humanista destaca por su carácter interdisciplinario.
