Abstract
En este documento se pretende caracterizar la crisis actual de las –utopías en sus aspectos más representativos– como realidad interpretada, desde la insatisfacción de las necesidades del hombre actual o el desbordamiento de las estructuras imperantes. A la crisis, objeto de reflexión de la cuestión presente, se han dado unas respuestas. En su identificación y caracterización se encuentran las utopías contemporáneas, incluyendo la franciscana, de la que se hará una precisión y elucidación indagando por su vigencia hoy, al rastrear su aporte a la esperanza de los hombres.
