Resumo
Un reciente estudio de Global Entreprenuership Monitor, GEM-Colombia en las versiones 2006 y 2007, da a conocer algunas situaciones particularmente llamativas para quienes lideran u orientan políticas o programas en torno al tema del desarrollo empresarial y del emprendimiento en el país. Debido a los múltiples signifi cados que se le han asignado a este último concepto, el equipo GEM-Colombia acoge la siguiente definición: “conjunto de personas, variables y factores que intervienen en el proceso de creación de nuevas empresas”.
