Abstract
A continuación se realiza una aproxima- ción al estado actual de las investigaciones sobre la mujer y su inserción en el campo educativo y laboral, intentando mostrar cómo estos dos aspectos contribuyen a que el tema se convierta en un problema socio- lógico de la familia colombiana. También se hará un recorrido teórico de las principales posturas sociológicas sobre la familia, de tal manera que se vislumbren campos de profundización importantes que pueden ser tenidos en cuenta para etapas posteriores de la investigación que se adelanta.
