Resumen
Este artículo parte de la revisión teórica, en el campo de los análisis del comportamiento político, de un fenómeno electoral como el voto diferenciado también denominado Split ticket voting o escisión del voto. Así, en las próximas páginas se dará cuenta de los principales enfoques y debates sobre el voto diferenciado, con el fin entender, por medio de una revisión bibliográfica y un análisis de contenido, los principales enfoques y casos de estudio más relevantes del voto diferenciado en el campo de la ciencia política. De esta manera, se plasma a continuación el primer avance de una investigación doctoral en curso.
