Abstract
In the present investigation, a survey was carried out on 142 graduates of the engineering faculty of the University of San Buenaventura Medellin, from the undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs, with the aim of determining the employment status of the graduates. For the study, a survey was applied to 142 graduates. The survey was designed on the SurveyMonkey platform and the questions were validated by experts, the information was tabulated through Excel and analyzed in the SPSS software using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the graduate has an adequate work situation, work situation and remains linked to the USB institutional life by different activities offered by the University, among them job boards, conferences, professorships, employee or as parents of students and mainly are reported through social networks.
