Abstract
Universities are currently strengthening the field of research from academia. However, the spectacular results are overshadowed by the amount of information. One strategy is to work to present the achievements of institutional research in an easy and understandable way. Supported by the information offered by Colciencias called "science in numbers", the institutions propose to generate a pilot with some of the main reports, which transcend to graphic presentations, and which are easily compatible with other institutional instances. The result of this work is Ephimerus, a semi-automatic system to implement queries and generate reports in a graphical, easy and friendly way, so that they can be absorbed in the daily work of the administrative team that, within the institution, is in charge of research..
