Resumen
El propósito de este estudio teórico es plantear algunos tópicos de desarrollo en el tema del liderazgo, a través del análisis retrospectivo del concepto. Se plantea la necesidad de continuar estudiando el liderazgo desde perspectivas cada vez más amplias e integrales que puedan abarcar la complejidad del fenómeno. Se enfatiza también en la importancia de seguir realizando investigaciones de carácter aplicado que sirvan de sustento para el desarrollo de modelos de liderazgo ajustados a las actuales condiciones de las organizaciones.
